From an early age, food has always been important to me. From a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to "Steak Carole" (my Better Way version of steak Diane) - I love food. One of the great joys of life is to dine with friends, exploring various cultures and customs.

Let your kids help in the kitchen. It prepares them for later

Limiting salt and oil is a good rule of thumb.
My food saving money tip to members:
Don't forget your coupons (which I do). Coupons can save big bucks on a families food budget.
My favorite healthy restaurants / eateries:
My son and I do most of our cooking at home. When we go out it's a special treat, so the food must be OUTSTANDING!

Prepared foods in jars, tins, cans and packages don't find their way into my basket. I avoid trans fats and hydrogenated

Mark, I was at cruising thru Barnes and Noble today talking to Michelle and looking for a B-day gift for my youngest son - he loves books. I came across a book by Dr. Suess on Growing Old - it was hilarious! Have you seen it - it is geared for an adult? I am going to get it for my siblings that are older than me - teehee! They tease me all the time and I am not the youngest!
