From an early age, food has always been important to me. From a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to "Steak Carole" (my Better Way version of steak Diane) - I love food. One of the great joys of life is to dine with friends, exploring various cultures and customs.

I'm a professional host and television producer. Talking and listening is what I do!

My education, major course of study, and/or work experience:

As a broadcaster I was one of the first to feature food as part of LA talk radio shows. Now I proudly present food features in an upbeat, fun and entertaining manner!

Let your kids help in the kitchen. It prepares them for later

My healthy cooking tip to members:

Limiting salt and oil is a good rule of thumb.

My food saving money tip to members:

Don't forget your coupons (which I do). Coupons can save big bucks on a families food budget.

My favorite healthy restaurants / eateries:

My son and I do most of our cooking at home. When we go out it's a special treat, so the food must be OUTSTANDING!

The food(s) I try most to avoid:

Prepared foods in jars, tins, cans and packages don't find their way into my basket. I avoid trans fats and hydrogenated
