Video Pilot Technical Submission Requirements
The following is a summary of the technical specifications that all video pilot submissions should adhere to.
All videos should:
*Be lit with a 3 point lighting rig or comparable
*Be miked with a hidden lavalier microphone or comparable
*Be shot on mini-DV tape
*Begin with introduction, "Hi, I'm _________ from Better Way Gourmet and today I'm going to show you an easier, healthier, and more affordable way to . . .
*Include personality close-ups
*Include extreme close-ups (food in pan, turning of oven knob, etc.)
*Include moving camera shots (following the action)
*Be no longer than 3 minutes in length (excluding extra shots such as close-ups, etc.)
*Finish with, "this is _________ from Better Way Gourmet, reminding you that there's a better way to do everything.
*Be mailed in a padded envelope included with submission ID, which will be given by phone or email after the completion of video. If you have a recommendation from a Better Way Gourmet representative, you will reference it at the time your submission ID is issued.
It is not neccessary to edit the video. All video editing will be done by Better Way Gourmet.
